Liked: The location was excellent, a short walk to shops, bakeries, supermarkets and cafes. Very close to the bridge to the old town and close to Mirabell Gardens. A 20 minute easy walk to the train station.It was lovely to be checked in by a person at reception. There was free tea and coffee all day. We didn’t have the hotel breakfast as we preferred to try different cafes around town. There was a fan in the room and the window opened wide with a nice view of the cute street below. The bathroom was small but absolutely adequate. The bed was comfortable.
Disliked: Nothing major. We stayed in April but it might be quite hot in the room without aircon. It was noisy if you left the window open at night.

Liked: Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful room and very comfy bed. Central location was everything! Wonderful breakfast in the beautifully decorated dining room.

Great location and breakfast!

Liked: Location was perfect for walking about Salzburg and having plenty of dining options quickly/easily available. The room was very clean and spacious, especially for an old building. The breakfast was outstanding and the staff was helpful.
