Excellent choice

Liked: Extremely good location. We loved working with the front desk, they were very helpful, answering our questions and directing us. We loved the little coffee bar with biscuits provided.

I would not recommend going...

Liked: It had a funky vibe, which was cool.
Disliked: It’s located on a very busy street and in the alleys around the hotel is a lot of nightlife and it’s very hard to sleep with the noise. I had to sleep with earplugs:…It was a bit too dark and tacky, the bathrooms light were not good either.

Excellent, would highly recommend it.

A nice little place in...

Liked: Barcelona was a stopover between Madrid and Paris on the train. The hotel was nicely located and easy to get to from Barcelona station via the underground. Reception were helpful and informative. The room was small but comfy. It could have done with a few more flat surfaces to put things on (recharging a mobile, smart watch and hearing aid charger only just fitted on the bedside table and I had to place the bedside light on the floor). Breakfast included in the price was pretty good. Nice hotel for perhaps a younger demographic. You don’t have to like tartan to stay here but it helps.
