Sue B, Hull, visiting Novello Theatre London Wed, 4 December 2013
Had problem with television but they came straight away to see to it. Really friendly, smiling staff. The foreign lady on reception on arrival was the best person there - made us feel really special.
Liked: The staff - nothing was too trouble. Really great people.
Disliked: Man on reception on 3rd December tended to let hotel down. Everybody else was fantastic.

Room was nice but damp,...
Liked: The location was perfect for an evening out to the theatre with dinner out and drinks.
Disliked: The room allocate to us had saturated carpet from a bathroom leakage. Housekeeping had laid towels over it but it was absolutely soaked through and the carpet stank. They offered us a small repayment back for the inconvenience, but I don't think the room should have been allocated to any guest in the condition it was in. It was so smelly we had to have the window open all night (in February!). Luckily it was only for one night.

Ideal for tourists who just...
Liked: Good location, nearby local attractions and a comfortable bed. Room wws small but what you expect in central. London and the room had the amenities needed.
Disliked: The breakfast was very poorly organised and the breakfast staff unhelpful. The shower leaked all over and the bath handle had been poorly repaired and fell off as we closed the door (they did offer to move us room).

Cosy, pleasant hotel
Liked: The hotel is in a prime location for the Dominion Theatre and The British Museum, as well as being a very short walk from Leicester Square/Covent Garden area. The hotel is cosy, welcoming and quiet, and though the rooms are small for three people it was very well equipped and bright with a well-sized bathroom.
Disliked: The breakfast was nice, but there wasn't much of it save for toast and some meat and cheese or cereal. It would have been nicer to have a wider choice. Though the rooms were very bright, the corridors were very dark.
