Had problem with television but they came straight away to see to it. Really friendly, smiling staff. The foreign lady on reception on arrival was the best person there - made us feel really special.

Liked: The staff - nothing was too trouble. Really great people.
Disliked: Man on reception on 3rd December tended to let hotel down. Everybody else was fantastic.

For the price, I would...

Liked: The location was perfect. It was within walking distance of Denmark Street and this was ideal for carrying our instruments down there for a gig. Furthermore, the staff were pleasant and helpful. We had some issues trying to figure out how the lights worked in the bathroom and we were promptly helped by a nearby cleaner who was more than happy to give us some directions. The bathroom was small but for the price, it is hard to expect anything out of this world. The water pressure on the shower was excellent however in comparison to other places I’ve stayed in London.
Disliked: There was a £200 safety deposit upon arrival which was taken hastily. This was to be kept should there be any damages to the hotel. Coming from a working class background, £200 taken from our budget straight away was a nightmare. The wardrobe doors were already on the verge of collapse so we were hesitant touch anything in fear of ‘causing’ damage to the property. Upon checking out, the gentleman on the desk made no mention of the deposit until I showed my receipt. This may have been an honest mistake but it seemed as though they would have happily kept our deposit without us causing any damage whatsoever.
