Nice place, good location!
Liked: The Owner is amazing and super nice. It makes you feel welcome and connects with you, I really enjoyed that. The rooms and mattresses are very comfortable and my room had a lot of light facing the street which I enjoyed a lot. Breakfast was really good too. They also kept my things safe after checkout so I could enjoy the city before my flight back home.
Disliked: The entrance has no mention to the name Chelsea Rooms NYC which makes you think if you're in the right place. The breakfast area is a bit tight but the food makes up for it. At the time everything was fully booked so I feel like I overpaid a bit but it's New York.

Great stay for travelers on...
Liked: It’s a nice clean guesthouse that was exactly what I needed as a low budget solo traveler in New York. The price is great (in comparison to what I was able to find in the city) and the owner is a lovely guy.
Disliked: The AC was a bit noisy every now and then and the room is a bit small for more then one person (didn’t hurt me because I was alone but the room is for two people)

Quiet, friendly, good breakfast, good...
Liked: The staff we met were very helpful and friendly. The owner, Chris, visited with us for a long time in the morning, and entertained us with stories from his Irish childhood. The breakfast has many options of organic fruits, cereals, excellent coffee. We met young people from Australia, Czech Republic, England. We have stayed in places similar to this in Paris and London - small, but clean and efficient. We never had issues with sharing bathrooms. We were there to explore the city, then sleep. It met the expectations of the advertisement.
Disliked: The only negative I would say, is the typical big city problem of handicap accessibility. Thanks to violinist Itzhak Perlman, street crossings have ramps for wheelchairs, but stairs will always be an obstacle. (It is on the second floor).
