Quirky, hotel, close to lots...
Liked: Chateau Denmark is definitely something a little different with it's quirky rooms which are split over Denmark Place and Denmark street. Michelle was great on arrival with booking us in, taking us up to the room and explaining what the room had to offer. I would definitely go back and try one of the other rooms as they all have their own style plus the hotel is an excellent setting for access into London.
Disliked: There were a couple of glitches in the room one was one of the speakers by the bed didn't work and couldn't be sorted during our stay (2 nights) - which is disappointing because that's really what the rooms are all about! Also the main shower head had a leak so didn't work properly..... there is a second shower head (which also leaked) but overall an enjoyable stay.

Stylish/noisy Soho sleepover—great for party...
Liked: Designer's galore, on Denmark Street, 2 minutes from the underground. Spacious rooms and comfy beds.
Disliked: Let’s set the scene: this review is based on expectations for a £300+ per night room. And spoiler alert—it’s not a hotel. It's a stylish jumble of rooms and apartments scattered across a few buildings. So if you're after the classic hotel experience—lobby bar, concierge, spa robes, the works—this ain’t it.We stayed over Easter. Their restaurant was closed, so it was just us and the room. No hotel bar to wind down at, no extra facilities (that we were told about, anyway). Basically, you’re paying £300+ for a designer crash pad on Denmark Street in Soho. Now, the building’s Grade II listed, which means character galore—but also slanted floors and, possibly, a bed that subtly tries to tip you out at night. Floors I get. The bed? Less so.Design-wise, it’s undeniably slick: leather-like floors, sexy lighting panels, a mini-bar loaded with bottles (not complimentary, sadly), an epic shower, and a big comfy bed. But… no bedside plug on my side. Had to charge my phone under the TV like it was 2009. Not a dealbreaker, but again—£300.Lighting was moody (read: low), which seemed to confuse the TV into staying dim, too. No option to adjust it, so we watched YouTube like it was being beamed in from another universe. Also, we ended up in the only room I didn’t want—the goth one. You can’t pick your exact room on Booking.com, just the type. We didn’t complain, so that’s on us. Still, gothic was not the vibe I needed on a bank holiday. Now the real kicker: the bass from the club behind us (The Lower Third) thumped through the walls until 3:30 AM. The back courtyard acted like an acoustic megaphone for the crowd outside. Great if you're 23, rich, and here to party. Not so much if you’re hoping for sleep and sanity.

“Ok” but would not come...
Liked: Clean room
Disliked: There was no elevator access to the rooms. For someone who is dealing with depression or has impaired vision, this hotel is absolutely unsuitable. The room was almost completely dark, with hardly any lighting. The continental breakfast was extremely poor given the price-performance ratio. For the room rate, not even a bottle of water was provided for free. At the end of our stay, we were charged a 5% service fee as a tip for services we never used. We explicitly declined this, yet the fee was still deducted. This is beyond bold. After we complained by phone, the amount was refunded — but in our view, this was highly unprofessional.
