Liked: Room was simply fab! Beautifully appointed, fantastic shower & bath, aircon - and the comfort of the bed was out of this world! Couldn't recommend it enough.

Liked: The room was lovely and comfortable, and we appreciated the way the whole place has been converted. It was of a high quality. Breakfast was very good. All the staff were really nice when we finally met someone on Monday morning.
Disliked: We arrived on Sunday evening. The place was strangely deserted. We expected food at the restaurant but were just offered crisps or nuts. Too tired to go into Chelmsford we bought picnic food from the nearby garage. We ate at a table outside, but didn't see a soul.
