Liked: The renovated rooms were nice
Disliked: As we booked two rooms, the first guest were put in a construction site even though they paid for the renovated rooms. They were told it was due to “electrical issues” however the next morning when they went to change rooms (to the room the paid for) they were told they couldn’t be moved into the right room until the other guests had moved out. Indicating that the hotel room was double booked.As I arrived the day after, when i went to check in I was told check in wasn’t until 3pm, which was no problem. However when I came back to check in at 3pm my room still wasn’t ready, and it wasn’t until 4pm when it was. We heard many people at reception during our time here saying that they have been put in the wrong room. Similar to the issue with the first room, where people pay for refurbished rooms and still end up with the outdated rooms, with no mention of a refund.

Good location and a fair...

Liked: Convenient and good price
Disliked: On the hottest day of the year so far there was no air con and the room was very very hot. There was however a fan but didn’t really offer any relief just moving hot air around. Our room seemed clean but we had another guest come and warn us of bugs that she had found within her bedding and on her pillows so that made us a bit wary.

Liked: Location and price
Disliked: Room size and layout. The online description should have been more explicit about the room size so that it does not come as a shock. Even if the rooms are small, they could have been planned better. Room had no desk. There should be some arrangement for a folding bedside table even if there is no space for a fixed one. I don't need to use a hair dryer, but for someone who does, there is no outlet in the bathroom.

Liked: The property was undergoing repairs and I had a room in the basement which was really good and newly renovated. The location was perfect and close to the underground train station so easy access to everywhere
Disliked: Nothing. It was a good value for money

Liked: Newly refurbished room , very clean, excellent location
Disliked: There was no complimentary water in the room, tap water is not drinkable , i did not really like this Also room service opened the door twice without knocking which I find it really inappropriate and privacy breach (one of the times I was in the toilet) not nice
