Quick one night stay. Lovely...

Amazing Location! (Will stay there...
Liked: We didn’t pay for the €15 breakfast… we used the Snack Shop across the street to grab a coffee and go. But the hotel breakfast looked amazing when we walked by it. Just didn’t think it was worth adding it to our budget it. ALL the staff was amazing. On point. Friendly. Helpful.
Disliked: Hard to pick something out… but I guess you can say our shower was hard to get use too… very small area and hard to step over the tube to get in. So, if you have issues with taking a high step make sure you plan properly.

Great hotel. Clean rooms. Comfortable...
Liked: Room was clean, comfortable bed, great location - quiet and close to everything, nice breakfast.
Disliked: There were mosquitoes in the room even though the windows were closed. It was late at night so we didn't call to complain as we didn't want them to spray or move us to another room as it was too late when we returned from our evening. In the morning, when checking out we explained to the woman at the front desk ( her name was JoMera (not sure of spelling) and instead of saying that she was sorry or any sympathy for our complaint, she said that this is normal at this time of year. Then continued to argue the fact with my husband even when we explained to her that we are based in Tuscany and know about mosquitoes but when staying in a hotel, especially one of your quality, we would expect that there not be mosquitoes in the room that they are cared for and sprayed so that you have the level of comfort at a hotel like this. We would have preferred not her answer of: maybe your room was too hot (the AC was on) or that you left the window open (which it was not at any time while we were in the room or while it was under our stay). She had no empathy or the attitude of the "customer is always right" but instead continuing to argue the fact when I finally said it is okay please just check us out. In my opinion, especially since we do travel very frequently to many different countries and at times have experienced mishaps in the rooms we do expect some level of understanding from the staff. Even if she would have said, I am so sorry for any inconvenience or even comp the breakfast or something minor to show appreciation for our disappointment. Otherwise, this hotel was wonderful and I would recommend it to others. I just hope that you can teach the staff maybe some higher standards on how to deal with the clientele when a situation arises.
