Liked: Beautiful building/grounds and fabulous friendly staff. We ate at Drewtons so didn’t try the menu and were too settled to bother with the health spa. We stayed one night and nearly booked a second but it’s quite pricey at nearly a hundred pounds a night for a standard double room, so we decided not to.

Stunning Castle accommodation

Liked: Stunning and impressive place. Fantastic hospitality staff at breakfast - exceptional. Beds very comfortable.
Disliked: Reception slow on arrival.

Quiet and restful

Liked: Gorgeous grounds, situated in a quiet village, very relaxing atmosphere. Swimming pool and health club excellent and well priced.
Disliked: Basic room was satisfactory, clean and well appointed, bathroom in need of an update. Clean but dated.
