It was a perfect place...

Liked: The grounds were beautiful and the location was perfect. It sides on the bay side which would be great for parents with little kids. For our teens, the ocean side was a simple 5-7 minute walk.
Disliked: The rooms were a tad out dated but clean.

Confirm construction isn't going on...

Liked: Love Catamaran's location. Been visiting the spa for years when we rent a house nearby so decided to book a room here while my daughter and I were in San Diego.
Disliked: They are doing construction in the tower - which is great because the suites are run down. We woke up to drilling at 9AM each morning. Do not book unless you confirm that there is no construction going on.

Liked: Landscape was beautiful. Pool area beautiful. Entertainment was good.
Disliked: Check in not till 4 and check out at 10 that was not worth the money!

Disliked: Loved the resort but felt a little outdated or at least our room/ room location was.

It was a relaxing stay...

Liked: Grounds were beautiful, lush greenery with ponds and koi. Nice gift shop. Yummy cinnamon buns at the coffee shop. Oceania Restaurant was good. Loved the outside fire pits.
Disliked: Room was overlooking a parking lot and could hear cars coming and going. Over priced room, could have paid a lot less elsewhere for same accommodations and would have been quieter. Told them it was our anniversary and still end up next to an elevator….

Gorgeous lush property, excellent and...

Liked: Beautiful- reminded us of Maui.
Disliked: A little loud. Definitely at the mercy of neighbors to be thoughtful after 10pm and pre 8am. Had a loud group above us one night then loud early risers who liked to socialize on porch next to room. But what can you do really. Just the layout of the hotel.
