A packed 3 day trip...

Liked: Great location and friendly, helpful staff. Provision of refreshments and comfortable lounge throughout the day was most welcome.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike about the property.

Liked: Good location, lovely staff, very clean, good for a one maybe 2 night stay
Disliked: Could use updating, continental breakfast only, rooms quite dark no views

Liked: Loved the uniqueness of the hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There was a little cafe that had water bottles, coffee, snacks 24/7. It was 1/2 block away from Times Square and all the action. Excellent restaurant connected to the hotel, Tony's.
Disliked: Not that I didn't like it, but there was street noise. I felt it was part of the New York experience.

When I go back to...

Liked: Right on the doorstep of Times Square the Casablanca Hotel is great for walking around midtown Manhattan and within easy walking distance of Grand Central station so you can get the train or the subway to JFK. The room was super quiet for being this close to Times Square, and we didn't hear a peep out of any of the other residents either, a rare thing these days.The staff are superb and were on hand to help out with luggage, or call you a cab, or even loan you an umbrella - five stars for the staff.
Disliked: No coffee machine in the room, but coffee was freely available in the lounge on the second floor so not too much of an issue. The suite we stayed in (room 509) had an interior courtyard view which wasn't up to much but on the plus side you got none of the noise from anything outside.

Disliked: Couldn’t fault the hotel in anyway. Would definitely stay there again if visiting New York
