Superb
Liked: Great lounge amenities, with snacks, tea, coffee/espresso, water, in a quiet area that had plenty of room on the second floor. Staff were very accommodating with checkin and checkout, highlighting amenities, and with bags.
Disliked: Even well above street level there's a fair amount of road noise from garbage trucks. Aside from that the rooms are quiet, private, and comfortable.

Hotel lived up to the...
Liked: Brilliant location for us we could get everywhere on foot and Rick's Cafe was definitely a selling point for us with the 24hr tea,coffee and snacks and the free breakfast service every morning.
Disliked: I think it would be nice for all the rooms to have a small introductory folder in each room. Whilst the staff are always welcoming and happy to help when guests arrive it is nice to have an info pack on hand to absorb once you have settled in.

Liked: The location is great but most important it's a verry nice small hotel with great "vibes" personable and attentive to your needs. Yes its clean and well maintained but the perfect "home base" for your visit to NY business or pleasure. I go to NY oftin and would not want to stay anywhere else.
