Fantastic hotel in an excellent...

Liked: The location was excellent,so close to Times Square and other top New York locations.The staff were very friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough for you.The breakfast was very good also,plus Rick’s cafe was also very good you could go 24 hrs a day for snacks and drinks.
Disliked: Nothing

Exceptional

Liked: Great location, lovely comfortable hotel. Breakfast was perfectly fine but the all day water, tea, coffee and pasties in Rick's Cafe is just fabulous. For us with our 2 teenage children it meant we could all spread out and relax for a bit after a long day of sightseeing. Cost wise when you factor in paying for breakfast,bottled water through out the day and coffees and snacks in New York you save so much just staying in this fantastic little hotel.Tony's next door is such a busy family place with big platters of food that feed 2-3 people comfortably and has a great atmosphere. In short,The Casablanca -Staff 10/10Comfortable and so clean 10/10Times square is just ok but to be so central to Broadway, Bryant park ( which we loved) and the subway was epic. We loved our stay and would stay again Tomorrow. This hotel is like Bryant Park a lovely peaceful oasis in the hustle and bustle of a truly amazing city .

location, location, location

Liked: fantastic location 1/2 block from Times Square, but also quiet. good breakfast. very professional staff. Major subway stop a block away made getting anywhere very easy. Very easy to get to hotel from Penn Station (we came on AMTRAK)
Disliked: Bathroom was very small. i am 6 feet tall and would have had difficulty sitting on toilet if any taller.

Liked: Staff were exceptional. Location was perfect. Rooms were quiet and comfortable. My kids loved the gifts they received on arrival and chocolate eggs for Easter!
Disliked: Nil.

Liked: Great location—right in the heart of Times Square. Super convenient for exploring the city
Disliked: We stayed in room 611 on the 6th floor. The room was decent, but the wooden floors meant we could hear our neighbors walking around—especially frustrating at 4am
