Not recommended unless you enjoy...

Liked: Clean room, good room facilities, walking distance from a couple of decent restaurants and easy access to Walmart etc just a few minutes drive. Good distance from Carlsbad Caverns NP which was the reason we were staying in Carlsbad.
Disliked: Honestly this was the WORST sleep my husband and I have ever had in any hotel or rental. The motel is situated right off a busy street with many pick up trucks going up and down all night...we stayed on a Sat night and hoped it would calm down but no, very very noisy all night, our sleep was so disrupted. There was also a lot of noise from a smoke shop at the back of the Motel. The room was quite hot overnight but the aircon was also extremely noisy so I didn't want to turn that on and deal with it alongside the road noise.As a couple my husband and I are usually quite pragmatic about hotel rooms and enjoy a bargain but I cannot stress enough how badly noise proofed this room was.

Liked: They are always friendly. Good location
Disliked: The WiFi was absolutely horrid! I couldn't stay connected for longer than 2 minutes. There were also bugs in the bathroom. They kept climbing on the toilet and I saw some roaches on the walls.
