Why Concert-goers love it

What makes the Caring Hotel a hit with music fans? Location, location, location. You're just minutes from Queensway Underground Station and Paddington Station, putting the city’s top venues within easy reach—whether you're heading to Hyde Park for a festival or catching a late-night show in the West End. While it’s not the place for loud afterparties, its quiet, residential setting is perfect for a peaceful post-show wind-down. Flexible check-in from 14:00 and check-out at 11:00 helps if you're arriving early or sleeping in after a late night.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for an affordable launch pad for exploring London
  • Solo travelers checking a live act off their bucket list
  • Couples enjoying a music-filled weekend getaway
  • Fans wanting a quieter post-concert recovery space away from the city buzz
  • Budget-conscious music fans who want value without compromising location

Food and Drink Options

While there’s no on-site restaurant, the inclusive continental breakfast is a nice touch for a budget hotel. You’ll find plenty of late-night bites and pubs in the nearby Queensway and Bayswater areas—just a few minutes’ walk. No 24/7 room service here, but the neighborhood more than makes up for it with its variety of international eateries.

Nightlife Options

The Caring Hotel keeps it low-key on-site, but you're well-placed to enjoy the city's vibrant nightlife. Walk to local pubs and lounges in Bayswater, or hop on the Tube to reach areas like Soho and Camden for live music, bars, and clubs. It’s easy to get back late thanks to the excellent transport links.

What People Say

Guests love the friendly staff, quiet neighborhood, and the hotel’s excellent location—especially for accessing Hyde Park concerts and central attractions. Reviews often note that rooms are simple but clean, and perfect for travelers who just need a comfortable place to rest after a busy day (or night) out.

Areas for Improvement

There’s no elevator, so if stairs are an issue, request a ground floor room in advance. Rooms are on the smaller side, but that’s typical for central London and made up for by the location and value.

The Bottom Line

If you're looking for a budget-friendly hotel near London’s top concert spots with a quiet place to crash after the show, Caring Hotel hits all the right notes.

Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

While the location of the...

Liked: We really loved the location of the hotel, as it’s close to everything. We were able to explore the city entirely on foot, which made our stay very convenient. The room was small, but that’s to be expected in a city like London, and it didn’t bother us at all.
Disliked: Unfortunately, the negative points were more numerous. We arrived early in the morning and had informed the hotel in advance. The very first words from the receptionist were: “You know check-in time is at 3pm. You are too early.” — not even a “hello.” We explained that we only wanted to leave our luggage and use the restroom. When we came back in the afternoon, another receptionist was absolutely lovely — the complete opposite of her colleagues. Most of the other staff members never replied to our “hello” when we entered the hotel. One was vaping with his feet up on the desk while watching a football match, and others were just on their phones. At check-out, there was not even eye contact — the receptionist kept looking at his phone. (PS: I work in hospitality myself, so this was really shocking to me.)The breakfast was also quite poor, both in quantity and quality. The room was very hot, and although we had to leave the window open, it couldn’t open fully, which was disappointing. Finally, we were very surprised to learn that we had to pay if we wanted our room cleaned during the stay. This was really shocking.

Pleasant

Liked: Sort of cheap. Relatively short walks to different underground stations. The staff was nice.
Disliked: The room smelled strongly (like trying to mask stuffiness with fragrance). The "bathroom" in the single person room was an incredibly small plastic closet: hard to fit in through the doors, or turn around in without stumbling on the toilet, let alone to have room to shower. The pictures here in Booking don't match the reality.

Good

Liked: The location is perfect, the room was perfectly fine.
Disliked: It would be nice if the breakfast had more variety and better coffee. Also, please note that the hotel was a bit hot. I know that 26° for London is a bit of a heatwave but it would be nice if something could be done in that regard.

Very Good - 4.0 out of 5

Nice and quiet

Liked: This hotel is one of the better "cheap" hotels i sentral parts of London. It's all clean and tidy, the room and the bathroom seemed to be newly renovated and well looked after. Although the power of the shower is what it is in England... They also serve english breakfast at £11, but we didn't have it. In the middle of the first night the toilet would not flush anymore. In the early morning we got a new room, which was smaller with a very small toilet. Luckily they managed to repair the toilet, and we could move back to room 21. That was a relief. The hotel is in a surprisingly quiet street just off Hyde Park.
Disliked: What I didn't like? Not much, really. We had a nice stay, but the digital check in was difficult. The reception had to help us, and it took a lot longer than "normal" check in routines. But it's all digital these days.

Good location but watch out...

Liked: The location was very good, the room was nice and clean, small but had everything you needed.
Disliked: I had to pay £10 (!!) for them to store one small suitcase for 3 hours for me - the charge is £10 for every 3 hours so if you're thinking of leaving our luggage there to go and explore London after check out - I'd say find another hotel. This was not mentioned on booking.com, the staff kept telling me that it was my fault for not booking directly with them, otherwise I would have been aware of the charge. No words. My room was right next to reception and the walls were very thin - I could hear staff chatting / doors slamming through out the whole night.
