Disappointing

Liked: Very good location, clean, spacious rooms.
Disliked: The fact that we had to pay for luggage storage until we left for the airport, this is because we made the reservation through Booking, as the receptionist mentioned.Basically, if you make a reservation through Booking you don't benefit from free storage. This is a lie accepted by Booking or omitted by the hotel.

Very good

Liked: The location of the hotel, 10 mins to Kensington Gardens, and 3 tube stations. Pleasant, thought quite small, room. Very friendly and helpful ladies in the breakfast area.
Disliked: Breakfast, very monotonous, no fresh vegetables, not even simple cucumbers or tomatoes. Not very helpful receptionists, especially one young lady. We were leaving before breakfast time and were told we'd be given a picknic basket instead but nothing was waiting for us, there was nobody at the reception and the lady in the kitchen (very friendly and helpful) didnt even know about it.

Lovely area, cozy rooms

Liked: Perfect location, nice and safe surroundings, easy check-in, clean and cozy room, kettle in the room
Disliked: Very hot in the room, I am aware it was hot outside and the room was on the 4th floor plus we have got a fan, but still it was difficult to sleep.Limited choice of food for break fast

Good for location but otherwise...

Liked: The hotel is located about 10 minutes walk away from Bayswater and Queensway Underground, 10 minutes walk to Kensington Park and about 20 mins to Paddington. In a quiet neighbourhood. Convenient and feel safe. And there is breakfast which is the same every morning but that's fine.
Disliked: Bring very minimal luggage because you will have to carry them all up, there are no lifts. Our room was at 5th level and it is buried in a tunnel like corridor behind 2 doors , with the room tightly squeezed beside 2 other rooms next door and all these rooms were behind another door from where you first arrive at your floor. It's a complicated layout. Quite worrisome if there should be a fire. And our room faces the back of other buildings, filled with dust and bird poop. You have to open the windows as otherwise there is no ventilation and there is no air-con. They provided a small fan though.

Pleasant

Liked: The hotel is clean and in a great location. Close to Paddington station and Hyde Park. Many nice restaurants.
Disliked: The single room on the ground floor is really tiny and noisy in the morning. Also, they would charge 10 pounds for luggage storage (more than 3 hours). That policy seems unusual.
