Excellent place to stay and...

Liked: Our room was clean, comfortable with a well stocked bathroom and toiletries. The mini fridge had a small bottle of fresh milk in it. Tea and coffee in plenty of supply.Breakfast is served at the table and ordered from a menu. It was okay, the cooked breakfast was a little lacking.Location is stunning set on the headland overlooking the bay and a short walk to the golden sand beach.
Disliked: Wasn't over keen on the breakfast, I think a little more information on how much you can order would be helpful.Also the stairs up to the rooms, 3 flights made me puff by the time i got to the top floor.

Relaxing and private with excellent...

Liked: The Cabin is not on the hotel site but that for us was a good thing. others may disagree. It was spacious and cosy and Carbis bay had gone a long way to ensure our stay was really nice and gave us all sort of creature comforts not afforded in the main hotel rooms. For myself and my wife we very much enjoyed it with excellent access to the bus and train into St Ives. I would give it 11/10 had it not been for the bed so its gets 9, and I really wanted to give it full marks.
Disliked: The only thing that was an issue was the bed and it's important top get a good night's sleep. Either the bed or the mattress, not sure which, angled us into the middle of the bed, and not a bit, a lot. it was like sleeping on a mountainside. if that got fixed it would be ideal! The shower was very slow too.

Spa was great but wouldn't...

Liked: Walters on beach great location for a drink. Breakfast was good, spa was lovely, although busy after check in time.
Disliked: Room was dark, not clean in places, a bit tired, disappointing as had upgraded to deluxe so had higher expectations. There for a birthday and they had promised 2 glasses of bubbly and chocolates in the room - not there. Bed was supposed to be extra large dbl but just standard dbl! Bed too firm.

Lovely mid week treat, good...

Liked: Breakfast was lovely, room was a bit smaller than expected. Spa facilities gorgeous, pool and sauna looking out to sea were wonderful
Disliked: Room cramped, would have liked larger room
