Candlewood Suites NYC -Times Square By IHG

Small room and a little pricey but the location is within walking distance of Times Square sights. I would recommend this hotel.

Liked: The view was stunning — you could literally sit by the window and watch the waves for hours.Breakfast was simple but super handy. Grabbed some eggs, toast, and coffee before heading out.The room was comfortable and clean. Nothing over-the-top, but it had everything we needed and felt really cozy.

Great hotel in super location

Liked: One of the few places with kitchenette- so precious when you like to have the flexibility and freedom to make your own breakfast in the morning! It's fully equipped with huge fridge, hob and microwave. The hotel staff are super friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and very conveniently located within walking distance from Times Square and so much more!If we ever come again, we will stay here as well.

Perfect Spot

Liked: The staff were lovely and most helpful. The studio apt was very well equipped , airconditioned , super clean and the bed was so comfortable. We also had a big tv. It was a lovely retreat at the end of a long day sightseeing. The apt was very central to downtown manhattan & subway ..15 min walk. Lots of cafes & restaurants nearby. There was all day free coffee, tea and water at reception . We stayed 5 nights and were told that housekeeping wouldn't be servicing our apt but that if we needed anything at all that we just had to ask at reception. That worked fine for us. Would definitely stay here again.

Disliked: The employees at the reception the most and that one employee with eyeglasses that he thinks he owns the customers

Clean, central hotel

Liked: Short walk to Broadway and popular tourist sites and stores, and subway stations, including to and from airports.Clean and spacious room with self catering facilities, such as big fridge and freezer, dishwasher, microwave and kitchen utensils. Air conditioning worked and easy to use.Staff were welcoming.
Disliked: Shower was lukewarm before 8am, but the water seems to heat up after this time for a warmer shower.Key card didn't seem to be needed to work the elevator, but it did for the stairs leading up to rooms, so inconsistencies with security measures for accessing room levels, though I did feel relatively sage as a solo traveller.
