Camfield House

Liked: staying here was an absolute treat, my host couldn't be more friendly and accommodating. the house was warm and inviting, beautiful decorated in a traditional style, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The room had an extensive selection of teas and coffees, biscuits and cakes. the bathroom had all the toiletries you could need plus little emergency packs with tissue, cotton buds tooth pic and hair bobble, which was useful. the options for breakfast were extensive also, fresh local produce cooked to order and served with a smile! I was here on business but my stay was a pleasure!

Liked: Lovely stay. The house is absolutely beautiful - so warm and welcoming. The breakfast was great, and we were offered a free drink and snacks on arrival.

A beautiful stay in Thurso,...

Liked: The breakfast at Camfield House was wonderful.
Disliked: The location was a little confusing as the address for the property in Booking.com showed it on the right hand side (east) of the road, but it was on the left hand side. We stopped at an apartment that was supposed to be the address of Camfield, but the tenants in the apartment told us it was toward downtown Thurso, a quarter of mile further and on the left hand side.

Liked: Felt like a home, able to relax in the loungeroom after dinner with log fire burning. Delightful!Fantastic amenities, lovely little touches like the pillow spritz to help sleep & a cosy hot water bottle. Beautiful grounds and a short stroll to a great local pub for dinner as recommended by the host.

I want to go back,...

Liked: I was traveling for an extended period, 6 months, and Camfield House was one of the best places I stayed. I only regret that I only stayed one night. If I could do it over again, I’d book a longer stay.
Disliked: There was nothing I didn’t like.
