Liked: Location was very good. Shower was excellent with plenty of hot water. Nice hotel lobby.
Disliked: Well you asked me so here you go.We were told that we had to request to have the room cleaned. Okay fine, so after 3 nights of staying there it was definitely time. So we kindly asked to have the room cleaned for the next 2 days straight or at the very least to at least to change the sheets, towels and dump the trash. It never ever happened. We finally just gave up. I personally had to flag down the cleaning staff myself just to get some clean towels. The two front desk people who by the way were both very nice and personable people had assured us that they would get it done but it never did happen.The room was beyond freezing in the day and extremely sporadic at night regardless of how we set the thermostat. It just would never regulate to a comfortable temperature. The AC unit is a mini split unit and is located all the way in the far left corner near the rear window so if you had the window shades open to enjoy the daylight and the view it never shuts off and freezes you out. And at night time with the shades closed it was hot/ cold /hot /cold. It was really impossible to find a happy medium which led to five very restless nights getting in and out of bed fighting with the thermostat whilst both sweating or freezing in bed. The bed was extremely soft and uncomfortable and both pillows were flat as a pancake. I have the worst backache and barely got any sleep in 5 nights. If I hadn't prepaid for the room I definitely would have checked out and left for another more comfortable hotel. We had previously stayed at a Cambria Hotel in Asheville NC and we just loved it. It was spectacular and we gave it 5 stars across the board and so naturally It influenced me to book again at the Louisville Cambria but this location was a real letdown. Also the carpet was really, really, filthy.The onsite coffee shop, Jackdaw was terrible. Lukewarm weak coffee and high prices for premade breakfast items.
