Recommend
Liked: Last minute booking and pleasantly surprised by big rooms with classic decor. Two double beds worked for 3 of us. 5 minute walk to Daikin stadium. Restaurant also had a classy laid back feel. Staff from valet to front desk to restaurant staff were all professional and friendly. They also have a laundry room.
Disliked: They could have informed us there is public parking next to hotel. $60 valet parking wasn’t the only option.

Unsafe neighborhood
Liked: Inside of the room was clean and it was quiet with no bother from other guests
Disliked: It was my first time in Houston and I booked this hotel based on the inside photos but did not research the location within the city. This neighborhood was not safe at all, there were no stores in walking distance and most nearby restaurants were in an unsafe area. The closest parking garage was 4 blocks away and carrying bags was not easy or felt safe. The outside lots or street parking was also unsafe. We tried to eat dinner out but walking around the neighborhood a man was relieving himself on a tree in broad daylight, there was human feces also on the sidewalk and there is a homeless shelter nearby with people occupying a whole sidewalk.
