Liked: Beautiful location! Car park onsite! Good size room and bathroom! Very clean and comfortable Delicious breakfast served by friendly staff

Liked: I liked the location and how old it is.
Disliked: The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. There were no night stands and no plugs by the bed for chargers etc. There was no bottled water provided. The decor is very outdated. Had to carry a big key/keyring around with us to let ourselves in when we got back at night which was inconvenient. Breakfast the next morning was not good as they didn’t have any pastries ‘ready’.

Excellent location, food and staff....

Liked: Staff very friendly and helpful. Menu choice in the restaurant was excellent, we particularly enjoyed the fish 'specials' for Good Friday. Breakfast was also very good. Room was large and very clean, had everything we needed. Location was perfect to catch up with relatives.
Disliked: The room decor was slightly dated (not too much of an issue). Pillows were rather lumpy. We did not sleep as we were kept awake by a persistent, intermittent banging noise - may be a window or a door banging in the wind?

Liked: Excellent breakfast and view while eating. Friendly staff. Good location for Clitheroe visit.
Disliked: Shower in bath awkward to use, but was told on check-out that walk-ins are available.
