Great place for a budget...

Liked: We thought the hotel was very good value for money. Generally the rooms were fine. Very large and lots of space for luggage. Basic but clean. It’s a 2/3 star hotel so if you go expecting that you will be pleasantly surprised. We were staying in the sister hotel across the road. We found staff to be friendly and helpful. We thought breakfast was good and the restaurants owned by the hotel were outstanding. Great service and even better food!
Disliked: A few of our rooms had smelly drains and we ended up needing a few air fresheners. Loud outside but all noise stopped by 11/12 so wasn’t an issue for us as we were out until that time anyway.

Good functional hotel. Very friendly...

Liked: Location.
Disliked: Need some hooks in the bathroom - no where to hang up towels or clothes. Also very noisy neighbours who partied till the early hours in the next room / corridor.

They did offer to change...

Liked: Location and places around
Disliked: The room bathroom very very tiny had to sit side ways to use the toilet couldn’t stand at the sink and close the door as not enough room had stairs to go down to the bedroom which not ideal when needed toilet during the night and didn’t want to switch the light on and the room smelt of cigs and when looking out the small window cigarette butts just outside the window and ecig the lighting very dim no good to get ready and put your make up on also had a incident with the door not latching as when we came home the door had not closed properly which resulted some one walking into our room late at night who had forgot what room he was in They did offer to change our room when we reported the next day and to come back after 3pm but we had come for the magic weekend so we would of been out and not back till late and that is why not reported on the first day as we dropped the bags is the room and when straight out, we checked out a day early, but we have stayed here across the road in a classic double the room was fine so we went for a classic king in the main hotel thinking the rooms would be better but it turns out across the road was better.Location was great short metro or bus to the centre area great hotel nice but think some of the rooms need updating

Probably wouldn't stay again

Liked: The breakfast was fine. Plenty of choice and cooked food was hotThe metro was convenient.
Disliked: The walls in the hotel are very thin and you can here people coming up the stairs and talking across the corridor in their room. The spoon for coffee wasn't clean, I found a nail clipping on the bed. Parking is available but you have to double park. So if you want to leave you gave to wait for the car in front to be moved.
