Extremely disappointing

Disliked: On arrival at 2:40 room wasn’t a available until 3pm On getting rooms after booking way in advance one room no12 was miles away through bar up many stairs and corridors into a small landing which felt like it was back of beyond making it feel very isolated especially for my 80 year old mother .The only way to describe the room was revolting like taking a step back in time with the foisty smell and carpet I wouldn’t put my feet on. The headboard was discoloured and cushions on top of bed looked like they had been there for 50 years! It was grubby and grimy although it had been cleaned it was desperately tired and need of a complete update and decor.The hotel had no other rooms to offer but suggested my mother shares with me and I asked for a refund which they said they would request and it will take up to 5 days.Extremely disappointing as it definitely doesn’t look like the pictures portray online. The 2nd room was slightly better but still very tired in need of a refresh and upgrade.Wish I had taken pictures

Disliked: Room not cleaned once while staying , we paid for all inclusive, but could only get a drink at a time, and couldn’t have whisky without mixer, hubby a Scot, doesn’t put anything in his whisky, food not great, choice very limited for veggies, also all inclusive only starts from 6pm till 11. Both hotel and all facilities need some love and attention, not enough staff on at breakfast .

Disappointing

Liked: The location, as on this trip, it was near where I needed to be
Disliked: The road to the property is uphill and narrow. The carpark is small considering its a lesuire club. The room was dated and needs a good update on everything.To my knowledge, there is no lift(elevator), which makes climbing the stairs difficult and cumbersome, especially if you have a few bags and you can't pass on them as they are narrow.

Disliked: The single room was slightly dated and in need of renovation. It was also noisy in the morning, possibly, due to deliveries to the kitchen.

Sour milk and weird breakfast...

Disliked: Room was shabby, shower didn't work properly, sour milk at breakfast. Then ordered an omelette was told that was more expensive than scrambled eggs. Staff saying they think that's a silly rule and they don't get it. Apparently the milk was put out by the night porter and that's why it was off?. Madness, as if that makes it ok.
