Bryant Park Hotel

Nice place - but not...

Liked: Location is fantastic - no complaints there. The rooms are comfortable and bright and the view of the park is great.
Disliked: No in room coffee....that really should be standard in a hotel of this caliber. We forgot a toothbrush - $6....seriously? Amenities are definitely on the weak side. The tub was leaking water on the bathroom floor which is not cool at all.

Probably my favorite hotel in...

Liked: Near perfect location, great view of the room, quite spacious for the price and lots of USB ports being there is also a nice touch.
Disliked: I once stuck at the elevator at near the wall for a couple of minutes, but glad that I could get out of there without any harm. fridge full of mini bar items, but it would have been nicer that I could store my own thing there. Just no space for that.

Lovely Hotel, We'll Be Back!

Liked: Our stay was fabulous. The front desk staff was warm and friendly, answered our questions expertly and efficiently, and even upgraded our room at no extra cost (thank you!). We were given a room directly across from the fitness center, but we didn't hear a thing from the gym, and since we weren't on the street side, the room was very quiet. It was also huge, beautifully decorated, and very well-appointed, with lovely toiletries, a comfy bed, and great lighting. The location was perfect--we could easily walk to the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, and a show near Times Square, without being right in the madness of those areas. Bryant Park was fun to explore, and the street the hotel is on has excellent bakeries. I will gladly stay at this hotel again!
Disliked: Nothing.

Excellent Stay at Bryant Park...

Liked: Excellent location with well sized quiet, comfortable rooms. Having Bryant Park & it's facilities, stalls & programs across the street is a big plus.
Disliked: Lack of coffee & tea facilities in each room & no in-room ordering for food & drinks was a minor inconvenience when one of us was not feeling well one evening. Readily fixed by ordering from one of multiple restaurants & cafes in same block as hotel.

Great Hotel located in NY...

Liked: The location was excellent, both for travel to/from JFK airport (Long Island Rail Road) coming into Grand Central station and the subway for exploring Manhattan. Also the hotel very close to Times Square and Broadway shows, and plenty of restaurant options around. Whilst the room wasn't large, it was more than adequate for our stay and didn't feel cramped, and had a large bathroom (with both bath and shower). Bed was very comfortable, and room had large TV. Wardrobe space was limited, but adequate for a 4 night stay. Overall we'd stay again, and would recommend to anyone coming to NY for the first time.
Disliked: Breakfast options. There was coffee and muffins available in the lobby every morning, but no variety (same limited options every day). We didn't use the hotel restaurants simply because there was enough info about them. Perhaps a menu in the room?
