Liked: Very friendly staff; comfortable room; great breakfast.
Disliked: ConcertHotels state free breakfast and parking! Only a 25 space car park so had to park in street for £6. Hotel say they never offer free breakfast!

Lovely place by the Meadows
Liked: A great place to stay, with a lovely view of one of the best areas of Edinburgh - the Meadows. Highly confortable and close to Nicholson Street and other amenieties.
Disliked: Nothing.

I enjoyed myself.
Liked: Very handy for me, well placed, friendly staff.
Disliked: I did not think that the dining room was up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. For example, diners should not have to ask for Parmesan to be served with their risotto - it should be a given.

Sweet stay with home-y vibes...
Liked: Nice neighbourhood, a bit of a walk away from the main attractions but close to some nice, less touristy restaurants and shop. Infinite supply of marshmallows. Rooms are nice and well appointed. Feels homey.
Disliked: Price during our weekend was a bit high, but reasonable compared to other properties. No slippers/robes.

The Bruntsfield Hotel is a...
Liked: We liked pretty much everything to be quite honest. Our room (105) was warm, spacious, wonderfully quiet, clean and well-appointed with a huge double bed that was extremely comfortable. Everything worked as it should and the en-suite bathroom was a delight to use and very well lit. Our breakfast experience was high-quality with amazing choice and very efficient service. Every member of staff we encountered was cheerful, polite and keen to help. The on-site parking is an absolute bonus and, whilst it's available on a "first come, first served" basis, there were generally spaces available. Check-in was a breeze once through the excellent automatic entrance doors (why doesn't every hotel have these!) and the lift was clean, very conveniently positioned near to reception and much appreciated when humping-in bulky cases! The hotel's location is great being adjacent to Bruntsfield Links and very close to a classy french restaurant! The Neighbourhood Bar in the basement is very accessible from the street and nicely atmospheric. We think the hotel has been refurbished fairly recently and it shows, so very well done BW and all concerned!
Disliked: We would have expected the complimentary waters to have been replaced and the coffee cups/water glasses to have been freshened-up when our room was serviced after our first night, but they weren't. It's a minor thing but a niggle none the less!
