This independent family-owned hotel provides a peaceful location just outside Chester's historic center yet only a 10-minute walk from the center of the city's amenities and attractions. Free secure private parking and free Wi-Fi access are available. A flat-screen TV tea and coffee-making facilities and a hairdryer are provided in each individually decorated room. This is a great hotel...

Liked: Excellent breakfast, freshly cooked and served. Hotel is about 20 minute walk from the centre of Chester and from the railway station but in a quiet area, at least when we were there. Room was comfortable with a good shower.

Disliked: I did not receive any Breakfast, I had to leave by 7 am and breakfast did not start until 8 am.I had to drive to Holyhead before I got something to eat

Amazing

Liked: Everything. The room was amazing, the hotel had that old world charm. Restaurant was lovely and Angela made us very welcome and was very helpful. Recommend this place wholeheartedly

LOVED THE HOTEL BUT OUR...

Liked: EXCELLENT STAFF, BREAKFAST WAS GORGEOUS AS WAS THE OLDE WORLD CHARM OF THE PLACE INSTEAD OF FORMICA EVERYWHERE.
Disliked: BED WAS A BIT OF A "HAMMOCK" NEEDS A NEW MATTRESS IN ROOM 17 TBH, THE ROOM IS RIGHT NEXT TO A BUSY ROAD AND WE LIKE OUR WINDOWS OPEN AT NIGHT SO THIS ADDED TO A SLIGHTLY UNCOMFORTABLE NIGHT. ROOM WAS LOVELY BUT SPOILED WITH SOME KIND OF STAIN ON THE CEILING NEAR THE BATHROOM DOOR.
