Wonderful hotel. Wonderful location

Liked: An absolute gem of a hotel. The location was perfect. It is worth booking the balcony rooms as the views were nothing short of amazing. Staff very attentive.

Exceptional

Liked: Staff were very friendly and gave great advice on the local bars and eateries which were very close at hand. The room was spotlessly clean and we were lucky to have a large terrace overlooking the Empire State building. Subway station was 2 minutes walk from the hotel. The locality was excellent, 20 minute walk to Times Square and a further 20 minutes to Central Park.
Disliked: Not a dislike as such, but no restaurant in the hotel.

Liked: We were on the 8th floor (room 802) and our room was on the corner which had a fantastic view of the skyline and Empire State Building. I loved how clean the room was, it wasn’t just clean, it was spotless. The service was amazing with cleaning arriving back to our room when we didn’t need it cleaner/were using it. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating.
Disliked: There is not a single negative thing I can say about my stay at this hotel. Absolutely brilliant.

Liked: Location, cleanliness, bed was comfortable and we moved the balcony of 701.
Disliked: No internet coverage. Not up to standard for a 4 star hotel. Would have rated higher otherwise

Clean and safe, perfect location...

Liked: Location was perfect - 25 min walk to Hudson Yards, Times Square and Rockefeller Center. One block away from the Subway as well. The staff was very nice and held our bags for us as we arrived early. I am used to NYC rooms being tiny tiny tiny but it was decently sized and perfectly comfortable for my spouse and I. While the bathroom was small, it was to be expected and was still functional. Everything felt very clean. Our view was nice, we loved that the snacks and waters were included already so we helped ourselves. Very much enjoyed the doorman at the front which added that NYC feel. We felt safe here and would stay here again!
Disliked: It was on a very busy street so if street noise bothers you this might not be for you. However, I'm sure in NYC it would be hard to find anywhere central that doesn't have that problem. It was perfectly fine for us!

Liked: Room was spacious and clean for a family of 5. Staff was friendly and attentive.
Disliked: Would have loved coffee in the lobby and access to a microwave for leftovers (only had a fridge, staff said no microwave in the building we could use). New York is expensive so these small amenities would have been lovely and much appreciated. On the second floor so street noise was a negative.
