Unpleasant experiences

Disliked: Front desk wanted to charge us 31 usd for a movie we did not watch. The parking attendent at the Parking lot (800 6th avenue) recomrnded by the hotel was rude and aggressive. He basically verbally aggressed us for his poor service.

Liked: Recently renovasted room, spacious, light and very comfortable. Location excellent. No restaurant at the Hotyel but a very good Mexican next door with discounts given by the Hotel.

Exceptionally confortable stay right in...

Liked: The hotel was excellent. Comfortable. Great location. Clean. And some really lovely details that you don’t find in other is hotels. Like the welcome snacks and the coffee tea. Newly refurbished. Felt very yo to date and fresh. Above all the staff were exceptional. Friendly. Went out if their way always to help. Christian on the front desk was very helpful and organised to have our room changed on the second day so we had a view of the Empire State Building. Which made it a very special and memorable stay. The concierge staff both during the day and evening were also extremely helpful with directions to different attractions and taking charge of our luggage after we had checked our. Also gave very valuable advice about the yellow cab for jfk and timings to leave for the airport. Thanks so much to all the staff for making this a very special stay.
Disliked: There wasn’t anything really. Everything was excellent.

Disliked: The hotel itself seemed small/cozy. It would have been nice if there was a rooftop area or any kind of breakfast offering.
