Wonderful experience of times gone...

Liked: Wonderful to have time to explore and to be immersed in the life of early colonial Tasmania - buildings, garden were amazing. Waking up to a rural outlook was such a bonus. The location also gave us time to wander the streets of Longford and to explore the towns history as well. Breakfast provisions were provided - we cheated and had them for tea, savouring our time in the cottage.

Well worth the stay!!

Liked: Pumpkin cottage was quaint, quiet and had everything we needed, the history of Brickendon is amazing. A fire and wine at night then a wander around the grounds before we left. Be sure to watch the video about the Archer family history. Thank you for opening up your farm for others to enjoy.

Liked: Peaceful location, history and comfortable beds.
Disliked: I understand authenticity needs to be preserved but it would have been nice to have somewhere comfortable to sit.

Disliked: The 3 of us had a bed each, but 2 of us said their beds were very hard and uncomfortable.They added blankets under the mattress!
