Overall a good stay and...

Liked: The history of the property and the setting. Food was excellent!
Disliked: Ok the whole the stay was very good and I would stop again however at dinner I had to request for water a further 3 times after originally being asked if I wanted some ( said yes) but then it never came until mid way through the main course ( I had a starter). I also had to ask for mayonnaise for the main twice. When asked if they were understaffed the answer was no just that a lot of people turned up who hadn’t booked so they weren’t expecting them. We could see the waitress moving quickly to help others who also clearly had issues with drinks orders. The food was excellent and arrived in good time. The issue with drinks however did drop the score down.

It was lovely. Staff excellent....

Disliked: My room was cold and hard to get warm with the little radiator. The room was quite dated.
