Clean comfortable stay in stunning...

Liked: Lovely location. Clean and comfortable room. Comfy bed. Staff was excellent and accommodating.

Liked: The bar staff were very welcoming and friendly...credit to them.
Disliked: On arrival reception staff unwelcoming.When we checked into our room there was faeces on the bathroom door. We reported it to Reception, who did apologise and clean it, but in a hotel establishment we would have expected them to be mortified and at least give some explanation how this was missed. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, sagging in the middle with no support. The fire door on the corridor slammed every time it was opened keeping us awake.

Liked: Good location for our purpose and a very good breakfast.
Disliked: Floor in bathroom needs updating and couldn’t get hot water from the shower. We could hear a lot of noise in the corridor and in the adjacent rooms in the middle of the night.

Disliked: Windows could have opened a bit wider / especially in the summer months (appreciating the safety aspect).

Disliked: Mould, in bedroom in corners and bathroom thick dust on picture frame , toilet did not flush think cobwebs behind sink bad painting dirty bathroom door , mould in corners of window. radiator paint off pipes. The furniture varnishes, coming off on the top of the cabinet, wallpaper off over bed marks over walls, carpet need a clean . Cleaner was cleaning rooms next to us had a looked in they were like when we came the year before. So, we were not happy with the room we were inWe took friends with us. Because we said how nice the rooms were last year. Last year, the breakfast was included. This year, we had to pay 16.00 extra, and the portion was so small. Have more pictures. it will only let me put four. Say NO TO ROOM 202 .
