Liked: Usual very good Marriott food

Liked: The room was kept clean,fridge restocked daily good view but would have liked the windows that the floor above had, good breakfast but the bacon was like leather. Reception was very helpful.
Disliked: Leathery bacon. T.V. channels, not enough choice and some unwatchable because of pixels. Didn't realise how steep the hill was from the pier to the hotel.

Liked: Good position in the town. The lounge area nice and other sitting areas available with a nice outside terrace.
Disliked: Indoor pool not available, for past years also. Cottages need an update.

Liked: Refurbished room great with sea view, location very good for excellent beach, staff very friendly & helpful, food & service very good.
Disliked: Breakfast is self-service but, despite lots of staff, coffee & tea were not self-service so you had to wait to be served - they need to have coffee machines with hot water for guests as you'd normally expect.Car park was OK as long as you pay £12 per day at reception (cheaper) and not via the parking app (£48 per day, very expensive).Hotel gardens & pool area need a bit of a tidy-up and, because of the cliff collapse works, the front looks a bit scruffy.

Liked: Room and view excellent.
Disliked: We have stayed several times and the check in is always very slow and somewhat haphazard. The girl who eventually checked us in was unable to provide a receipt for our accommodation cost and promised to email it. To date it has not been received. Possibly, better training and new modern computer systems would help?
