When I booked the reservation the person who helped was great, very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. A great price and staff, will definitely come visit again soon.

We stayed on 10/26/12 for a concert at the Wilbur. I was quite concerned after reading reviews that were either 1 star or 5 stars. I gave it 5 stars and wonder what the 1 star reviewers experienced. We had a deluxe room which, for the $20 more per night, was absolutely worth it. The lobby is beautiful, the staff was friendly and efficient, the elevators ran perfectly, and the experience was excellent. If one is trying to skimp on everything, one should not be surprised if things aren't perfect. Spend the extra money. We'll stay there again.

Disliked: Valet services lost our key to our vehicle. Spent over an hour waiting for them to locate the key. The night attendant mislabeled our key for a Chevy Malibu, it was a Chevy traverse. The manager personally said to us that he wasn't charging us for valet services. He extremely apologize for the inconvenience.

Disappointing

Disliked: Hilton is supposed to be the hotel's of quality. This place is in serious need of refurbishment. Our room (6015) was like from the 90s. Veneer peeling from the units. Ancient carpeting. Layers of paint on doors. Covered in patches. The bathroom had so much white (now yellowed) silicone sealant around it. It looked a mess. A bottle opener inside the bathroom door? Eh?!? No cutlery. No glassware. Dodgy/noisy air conditioning and window blinds that came off their rail (I fixed them).At over £300GBP per night (inc. taxes) it was embarrassing. There are other hotels equally central I'd recommend clients to consider that will be better quality at the price. Avoid. No doubt, Hilton will thank us for the feedback but doubt they'll fix this falling hotel anytime soon.
