Would probably return

Liked: Location, car park, annexe rooms, staff as no space in carpark due to a function and manager gave me his space
Disliked: Party men next door woke me and keeping me awake from 3am til 4.30am!!!

Disappointed!

Liked: Food generally very average
Disliked: Cleanliness, food, only one towel for two people! This was changed after several contacts with staff!

The outdated and dowdy hotel...

Liked: The staff were absolutely delightful. Warm, welcoming and friendly. The bar area was a lovely place to spend the evening and relaxing after a busy day visiting the potteries. No signal issues and free view tv via an arial. Breakfast was very good, great selection.
Disliked: The decor is very very outdated. Unfortunately the room we were allocated looks absolutely nothing like the photos. While we booked a standard room, on our booking confirmation, the photos show what was must be a deluxe room. Very misleading. Only one bedside table. Parking is very very tight and our car was badly knocked by someone clearly trying to get into their car. Bar food menu was good but our burgers were quite pink and tasted of strong garlic that we weren’t expecting.

Food and staff excellent. We...

Liked: Dinner - food freshly cooked, tasty and well presented and catered for our dietary needs with a smile.Breakfast - as aboveRoom - clean and good showerStaff - extremely friendly and helpful
Disliked: Room - carpet, bathroom fittings tired and location of room in the annexe we found noisy from traffic and early morning contractors at the hotel.

Absolutely trash im never coming...

Liked: It's terrible the pictures weren't the same as the property it was horrible shower was cold
Disliked: It's terrible the pictures weren't the same as the property it was horrible shower was cold the shower head was rusty not worth the money I need a refund because I was scammed the kitchen were they cook the food was in a state the room was messy I have never been to a hotel that's this bad in my life the owner of hotel rude
