Blue Gate Garden Inn

Very good

Liked: We frequently stay at the Blue Gate Gatden Inn when in Shipshewana. We have always been very pleased with the accommodations.
Disliked: We always look forward to the breakfast provided. Unfortunately, this time was an exception. The omelet made that day was runny, mushy, and I was unable to eat it. The hot choices on the buffet consist of 3 different egg dishes, sausage, and biscuit gravy. I can't eat sausage or gravy.

Liked: excellent breakfast with omelet stationplenty amenities to keep you occupied including indoor pool and hot tub, acarde and ice cream parlor.

Disliked: The temperature in the hallways, lobby and elevators was very hot. The thermostat was st at 77 with a lock box on it.

Liked: All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet, which is included, was delicious. Made to order omelets and many other fresh dishes were available, such as home fries, scrambled eggs, sausages, fruit, and so much more. There was a pool, hot tub, arcade games and an ice cream shop.

Disliked: Began power washing the 3rd floor windows and siding by us at 8:30 am. So much for sleeping in

Liked: Beautiful property. Lots of great amenities. Close to everything
Disliked: Too noisy at night. The people in the room about were noisy and the gather area on our floor was near our room and since it was raining, it was occupied late into the night.

Liked: Easy access to Blue Gate Theatre .... walking Nice fire pit and outdoor patio area also. Breakfast 4-star included.
