Bloomsbury Palace Hotel

Overall we were very pleased with the hotel. It's location for shopping and the theatres was excellent. We would use the hotel again and recommend it.

Liked: Clean and presentable hotel; very helpful staff; comfortable bed and pillows.
Disliked: We found the heating for the room not very efficient, despite being up at maximum; the vents on the system were dirty, broken and not adjustable.

Who called this place a...

Liked: It is called “palace” but has nothing to do with a palace. Great location.
Disliked: No lift, tiny room, practically the whole room is just a bed, no air-conditioning, very modest breakfast, narrow corridor.

Liked: The hotel is centrally located, easy to get to anywhere in the city, both on foot and by public transport. It is an old building, which gives it a certain spirit of old London. However, this means there is no lift to the upper floors. The rooms are small, although everything is there: a safe, a kettle, a hairdryer. There was a problem with the tap in the bathroom, which was fixed only after two days. But the staff is very polite and helpful. The breakfast is very poor - there are no hot dishes at all.
