Liked: Nice building.
Disliked: The room was not prepared fully, only one set of towels for two people, no water provided, room adjacent to the bin store, food offering limited, restaurant manager needs to learn some manners and be polite. Tv hardly worked due to damaged cable. Cleaners shouting at each other to clean the rooms faster. The young staff working hard but clearly short of staff to help and guide them. Summed up on check out when cleaning supervisor telling reception they were short staffed and reception ignoring clients waiting to check out. Will not return which is a shame.

Liked: I liked the spa facilities they are great and the hotel is beautiful.
Disliked: The t.v didn't work phoned reception and I was told a manager would come and try and fix it and nobody came. There was a wedding on which I understand they going to have music on but they put on the side of the hotel which we had to keep the widows open and it was like we was having the party too so we didn't sleep till after midnight when it had finished. We went do for a drink to the bar and had to wait half hour just to get a drink because the wedding guests was in the same bar because the bar they use wasn't ready.

Liked: The hotel was clean and very tidy, the staff that did tuna up for their shift was amazing, we were told 5 staff had called in sick, but the service we received was amazing considering we were a part of a larger group
Disliked: The fact that 5 staff called in sick, so service was a little slower

Lovely hotel in a quiet...

Liked: Our room was in the Carriage House rather than the main building which was simply decorated with comfy bed and a very nice bathroom. Food was very good with plenty of choice at breakfast. Nice spa with indoor and outdoor hot tubs. It's about a half hour walk into centre of town with a good selection of restaurants if you don't want to eat at the hotel every night.
Disliked: The pool is very small so does get a bit tricky negotiating other people if more than 2 or 3 in. On the plus side though, your length count can be very impressive!
