Liked: Lovely place to stay very central. Food was lovely. Staff went above & beyond. Very friendly helpful staff.
Disliked: Could do with little signs on the doors outside the bedrooms. Asking guests to be quiet after a certain time in the evening. Also breakfast was lovely but beans cold told the young lad he offered to warm them he said she had forgotten to heat them. I was fine had nearly finished my breakfast. It was hearing her laugh in the kitchen about it I didn't like.

Liked: Great location, food was lovely we ate here in the evening and breakfast was included. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and our pup. Staff were so polite and helpful. 100% recommend would definitely stay again. Room was spacious and clean. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Comfy Stay In Richmond

Liked: Old fashioned compact room with two single beds on the second floor. Nice comfortable feel about the room and the bed was comfy too. Breakfast room was on the second floor. If I stay in Richmond again I will first check out the availability of this location. Right in the centre of town next to the main square with car parking at the rear. Good shower unit for a morning shower. Good sleep and in a quiet location.
Disliked: We stayed in Room 4 which is on the second floor. The ceiling up the stairs to the room is very tight and coming back at night I scuffed my head on the ceiling. The light only comes on after you pass the ceiling and I forgot about the low ceiling. There are signs coming from the room warning low ceiling but none the other way and even if there was the light doesn't come on until you activate the sensor after knocking your head.No damage done but they may need the light sensors changing to light up the area. If you are over 6ft in height it is a bit of a squeeze going up and down.

Far from good

Liked: Good location in town centre, pub on the ground floor.
Disliked: Room was not en-suite, so had use the bathroom opposite the room locking it each time. Bedroom and bathroom were disgusting, and was not cleaned prior to our visit, no shower head holder. On site parking was full so we had to pay to park somewhere else. Early in the morning the cooker hoods are making annoying noise as well as kitchen smell in the room.

Liked: Great location and the waiting staff were friendly.
Disliked: Great location, but the reality falls short. The decor is dated and neglected — peeling paint, slapdash finishes, and a generally grimy feel. Bathrooms are particularly bad, with mouldy sealant and a shower stuck on scalding hot. Photos likely show the place at its best, long past. Overall, tired and disappointing. Wouldn’t recommend.

Disliked: Noise from kitchen extractor was very loud and distracting. I reported a faulty door closer on the bathroom door which was not rectified.
