My sister and I stayed at the Beverly Laurel in Mid October, 2016. The staff and location were great. It was within walking distance (2 Blocks) to the Price is Right show. We also were able to meet Drew Carey at a restaurant in the area. This was definitely a highlight for us. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We felt safe at the Beverly Laurel and in the area - as two older ladies that was very important. We would definitely stay at the Beverly Laurel again.
Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location.

I have stayed at this hotel 4 times in the past due to the location. It has always been "fine" for the money, but now it has been updated and made into this cool mid century jewel - what a treat! I will never stay anywhere else.
Liked: Updated and AMAZING!

Liked: Nice clean rooms; friendly staff and valet; attached restaurant a plus.
Disliked: AC was hard to configure - kept changing to heat when set AC; parking a little high.

Liked: Love the vibe, it?s such a fun spot and the staff are amazing! The pool is gorgeous and to our surprise was heated so the kids had a blast! Very comfortable beds too and a great clean bathroom, a biggie for us!

Liked: Excellent location. Friendly and super helpful staff (one even showed me how to download and use the Uber app
Disliked: Only pop machine was downstairs in the garage. Lots of glass walls in foyer, pool area - looked great but not too clearly marked.

Great place to relax and...
Liked: This is a retro-chic hotel, well kept and run, with a three-story courtyard of rooms surrounding an excellent pool and a seriously good casual restaurant attached to a corner of the building. Couldn't help but love it. Its location near CBS studios is ideal if you want to be in game show TV audience.
Disliked: If I had a suggestion, it would relate to a clear presentation of all room costs, including daily parking fees. Total room costs exceeded my expectations, but were probably in line with other hotels on Beverly Blvd.

Liked: For me was the perfect place to be in LA, great location with shopping areas and restaurants walking distance. The hotel its been well kept from its 1950's style, even with few renovations to keep it up to date and in perfect style and comfort, the hotel still have the original features. I stay in one of the corner suites with round bed and stunning semi-circle sofa, fantastic spacious bathroom with shower and bathtub separately, just wonderful. Definitely one of the best places to be in LA for the first time. Highly recommended.
Disliked: The restaurant downstairs uses a power machine to clean up the front area of the restaurant once in a while around 7 in the morning. A little disturbing, but not the end of the world. Anyhow, they should definitely find another solution to do this!
