Best Western Tampa

The manager was the best hospitality professional I have encountered in a long time. We had no issues at all. If we had, I am very confident it would have been addressed immediately.

Liked: Staff, cleanliness, location.
Disliked: Nothing.

This was the worst hotel experience we have had in a long time. The room burned my nose and eyes from cold and the bed was like a rock! The tv was old and outdated. When we called the front desk the man showed up at our room with a spray bottle to spray some chemical deodorizer in the room!!!! I was at a convention all day and so looking forward to a hot bath and the water was set to a maximum temperature so it was tepid and I couldn't have a hot bath. As well the internet was very slow to work on and it was down a lot of the time. I would have left except I paid online and the front desk said they could not refund my money. We were very disappointed with this hotel. In the past we have had much better experiences. We were just in Clearwater and had a nice room, excellent bed.....We are business people and have travelled from Canada to US 3 times in the past 6 months and will be travelling in Florida very often, so it would be nice to know that we could stay in a Best Western and have a dependable experience ( unlike this past one).

Liked: Liked the location, basically closed to everything and quite at the same time
Disliked: The cleaning (water staging in the bath after shower), that place is old also, so all furnitures and amenities. The gym was a joke. Key rooms are one time use, you go back to the reception every time you go out.

STAY WAS GREAT

Liked: WAS GREAT LOCATION FOR US, HOTEL WAS CLEAN INCLUDING ROOMS, POOL WAS GREAT. BREAKFAST WAS FINE. A GREAT PLACE TO STAY FOR AN AFFORDABLE PRICE.. STAFF WAS EXTRA SPECIAL. THANKS
Disliked: ESPECIALLY LIKED THAT WE WERE ON FIRST FLOOR- VERY HANDY FOR COMING AND GOING. ALSO ENJOYED THE COFFEE AND LEMON WATER AVAILABLE AT ALL TIMES.

Liked: Food was pretty good and people were friendly and when we got there a little early our room was ready so they got us checked in.
Disliked: Bathroom there was hair and dirt in the tub and a roach on the bed but I live in FL too so I didn't freak out but kids did because it was in there bed

Disliked: I liked everything; the only thing that could be improved is that last day after the checkout I left my luggage in the hotel and noticed that there is not a dedicated room where bags are properly tagged and stored but it was placed in an open service storage room where potentially everybody could access and steel items and without any identification tag
