Best Western Tampa

The manager was the best hospitality professional I have encountered in a long time. We had no issues at all. If we had, I am very confident it would have been addressed immediately.

Liked: Staff, cleanliness, location.
Disliked: Nothing.

This was the worst hotel experience we have had in a long time. The room burned my nose and eyes from cold and the bed was like a rock! The tv was old and outdated. When we called the front desk the man showed up at our room with a spray bottle to spray some chemical deodorizer in the room!!!! I was at a convention all day and so looking forward to a hot bath and the water was set to a maximum temperature so it was tepid and I couldn't have a hot bath. As well the internet was very slow to work on and it was down a lot of the time. I would have left except I paid online and the front desk said they could not refund my money. We were very disappointed with this hotel. In the past we have had much better experiences. We were just in Clearwater and had a nice room, excellent bed.....We are business people and have travelled from Canada to US 3 times in the past 6 months and will be travelling in Florida very often, so it would be nice to know that we could stay in a Best Western and have a dependable experience ( unlike this past one).

Disliked: I stayed one week and my room wasn't cleaned 3 times, even if I told them.Also, the breakfast wasn't great. Always the same.

it was okay but definitely...

Liked: The pool area was always clean. Water was warm. Staff was all friendly and helpful. The location was perfect.
Disliked: Breakfast didnt have much different options. There was no pool towels for the first 2 days. Was given key to a room that other people were already in. Bathroom door needed to be jiggle a little sometimes to get out. There was a horrible smell one day which forced me to leave out the hotel earlier that day than expected.

Overall good experience aside from...

Liked: Friendly staff and location
Disliked: The IHOP next to hotel had dumpster pickup at 4:30 in morning ion a Saturday that startled and woke us up.

Disliked: The bathroom was dirty the midnight early morning person ignored the phone and told us they had no clean rooms after she agreed the brown smudge on the bathroom door was disgusting
