Very good hotel and great location for the event we were attending at The Roundhouse, Camden.

Good hotel with nice atmosphere...
Liked: Quite spacious room, good breakfast, friendly staff. Felt more like a good B&B than a big hotel. The location is fantastic — lovely area of London, a few yards from Swiss Cottage underground station.
Disliked: Some might find the decor a little dated, but I liked it.

A quiet gem in the...
Liked: We loved that big, beautiful downstairs sitting room. The window open onto the little garden. The garden out the back, the dining room. While the rooms were modest, these common spaces were elegant and spacious and comfortable. After a challenging day of travel and meetings, to sit quietly in the welcoming chairs and just watch the evening come in on the trees in the twilight was heavenly.
Disliked: Well, it is a charming old house with a charming old elevator but in the scheme of things, that never really mattered.

Lovely overnight stay in great...
Liked: The room was very comfortable and had windows that could be opened, perfect for keeping the room cool in the summer. The location is good, a lovely leafy area of London, very close to Swiss Cottage underground station and on convenient bus routes.
Disliked: Not applicable.

Good
Liked: Quite peaceful and charming location. Good distance from Wembley Stadium and near the subway that was one of the main reasons why we chose this hotel.
Disliked: The building has seen it's best days and could benefit from renovation. Even the furniture there was worn down. Beds could have been more comfortable and the room was hot, because there was no AC. There was AC in the breakfast room and that was the only cool place in the hotel - if only the whole hotel would have been like that! Some of the staff was friendly, but some were not and they kept interaction with us to a minimum and did not even ask how our stay was when we left. Shower had only two temperature options - very hot and burn through your skin hot. A cold shower would have been nice especially when the outside temp was +30.

enjoyable
Liked: great location outside the city centre but very close to the subway (10' to downtown), hampstead theatre just one block away. quiet nice street, clean, small excellent bathroom, old fashioned with vintage furniture, great common spaces, be careful on uneven fancy stairs. Will consider again for next visits to London.
Disliked: too high a price (even for a last minute booking), no elevator to the last floor should be advertised in advance

Nice hotel in quiet area.
Liked: Near tube station for centre of London. Room was small but clean and comfortable. Old hotel but nice decor. Breakfast was delicious...good value.
Disliked: Quiet part of London. Hotel was having some minor refurbishment. No lifts so had to use stairs.
