Best Western Swiss Cottage Hotel

Very good hotel and great location for the event we were attending at The Roundhouse, Camden.

Very comfortable and convenient place...

Liked: Hotel was exactly what I was expecting. Great location, moments from Swiss Cottage (Jubilee Line). Neighbourhood was quiet and leafy, Hotel staff were friendly, Lounge & Bar area were very elegant. Our bedroom & ensuite were spotlessly clean and comfortable.
Disliked: I was surprised at how expensive in general London hotels have become!

Liked: Good location, 2 minutes walk from the underground station. Very nice part of London. Very good breakfast. The staff was friendly, nice.
Disliked: The smoking area in the street was not cleaned and the lobby was also pretty dirty. Old house with no renovation, the bathroom was very used, the shower was broken, did not work.

Liked: Soap for the hand wash and body wash did not work.

Interesting, not for more than...

Liked: A truly old-fashioned and charismatic hotel. Very good location. Great quiet neighborhood. Next to Green Hill and a great park. Very nice old lift. The hotel is good as a new experience and not for more than 1 night stay.
Disliked: The hotel is an orchestra. :) Everything sounds in it. The floors sound, the beds sound, the wardrobe doors and the entrance door too. You can hear your neighbors every step they take when they go to the toilet or around the bed at night.:) It is understandable why they walk, because the bed is 185cm long and 140cm wide and is designed to sleep two. One sleeps across, the other walks.:) The hotel smells of old rooms, probably mold. We are not allergic, but I do not recommend it to those who are allergic. The English breakfast is good, but the additional selection is very limited.

Liked: The welcome we received and the general atmosphere of the lobby.
Disliked: The breakfast is not worth the price.The toiletries supplied did not seem fresh, were scarce and below standard. Even cheap hotels are more generous.
