Lovely relaxing overnight stay.

Liked: Tastefully decorated hotel in a beautiful location. We ate our meals in the bar area as we were travelling with our dog, the staff were very friendly and very attentive towards our dog providing a water bowl and biscuits for her. The dinner and breakfast were delicious with a great choice of menu options.
Disliked: One of the room's was particularly hot, my husband tried to decrease the temperature however the thermometer wouldn't go below 20 degrees.

Liked: Wasnt too big, limited noise from any other guests - we were on a foodie trip and restaurant food was great - beds really comfy..location convenient for the area.
Disliked: Noise from the fridge every x hours - if you happened to be trying to get to sleep. Shower water pressure not always consistant - but these are minor.

Liked: Usually very reliable - clean, good food, good service and comfortable. Great for the business traveller,.
Disliked: This time, I was woken up at 3:00 am by drunk people trying to get in to their room banging and shouting. Not what I expect at all- especially midweek.

God value hotel with good...

Liked: Friendly and helpful staff, clean well equipped room, excellent shower. Fresh milk and complimentary water in the fridge a welcome addition. Restaurant food very good.
Disliked: Boiler failed one morning so no hot water. These things happen but it would have been nice to have been offered some compensation without asking.
