Best Western Plus North Miami/Bal Harbour

I have stayed here before when visiting my Scholar at FIU. Love how close it is to the Biscayne Campus. The staff is friendly and hotel is clean. I had no issues at all. Should I need to visit North Miami again, Best Western here I come. Keep up the excellent work.

Would not stay here again.

Liked: Gave us a new room because of the cigarette smell.
Disliked: Old and expensive for the amenities. Bathroom smelled of cigarettes. Made photocopies of my license and credit card in case we damaged the room. Not sure why that would be needed when I prepaid the room and presented the same card at check in. Unnecessary to do that especially in an age of identity theft.

I'll be back.

Liked: Although the hotel is small, it has a good structure for guests and a very good location.
Disliked: My recent stay at this hotel was disappointing due to the consistently cold and impersonal demeanor of the staff. From check-in to check-out, there was a noticeable lack of warmth and genuine hospitality. Interactions felt transactional and devoid of any personal touch.Furthermore, the staff displayed a distinct lack of interest in assisting guests. Requests were met with indifference, and there seemed to be a general unwillingness to go the extra mile to ensure a comfortable and positive experience. Their lack of proactiveness and disengagement significantly detracted from the overall stay.Unfortunately, the unfriendliness and unhelpfulness of the staff created a rather unwelcoming atmosphere. While the hotel itself might have its merits, the service fell far short of expectations. I hope management addresses this issue to foster a more guest-centric and hospitable environment for future visitors.
