Liked: The location was nice. It was very close to the bridge.
Disliked: In the mornings it was very loud. It was loud from traffic outside, cleaning staff and other guests.

I would recommend this hotel...

Liked: Value, clean, location, comfy beds.The pool area is small but very clean, gets good sunshine. Loved the free snacks in lobby and the lobby bathrooms availability since we were a big party with one toilet. Walkable to many restaurants near the ferry landing side. Grocery store a block away.Free underground parking and elevator was very nice.
Disliked: Bathroom small. We stayed in a family suite and there were five of us and there wasn’t enough counter space for our toiletries, or many plugs in the bedroom area.

Pleasant stay for our first...

Liked: Spacious room, friendly staff and diligent room cleaning every day (not too easy to find anymore)! The variety of hot and especially cold options at breakfast was entirely overwhelming! Bikes to use for free! Fridge, microwave and coffeemaker in room. A coffee machine and more snacks in the lobby! Pool area was pleasant too! Good location for exploring Coronado by foot or bike. We even used the ferry to get to the airport! Nice large seating area with tables in the central patio area, which during our stay seemed very little used.
Disliked: Heard every footstep of the guests above us; sounded like their floor was getting old and creaky. Our room faced an alley with garbage cans (to be fair, we had requested a quiet room). We were still close to the main road though, so got traffic noise when we cracked the windows. So much plastic at breakfast--even the plastic knives, forks and spoons were sealed in unnecessary plastic wrappers which were time-consuming and irksome to remove and have to send to the landfill. While there were a few hot options and fruits available daily, there were a HUGE number of sweet/highly processed/unhealthy offerings which were very distracting and time-consuming even to ponder. Disappointed that the only oatmeal available was the do-it-yourself instant variety--too time consuming to bother with. Big selection of sweetened yogurt, but no plain yogurt to go with my granola. I'd suggest offering a few more healthy options, and reduce the selection sweet, highly processed ones by about 90%!
