Best Western Plus Sanford Airport/Lake Mary Hotel

Very nice even under the construction remodel. Wasn't expecting construction but it was okay. The rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable.

Liked: The Breakfast and Location
Disliked: A man who worked that night had a horrible attitude and called me at 11:55 pm. to confirm a payment with Booking, literally woke me out of my sleep, then proceeded to tell me time doesn't matter. I will not return to this hotel.

Great value, friendly staff, location...

Liked: I was pleased for the shuttle, great breakfast, and friendly front desk. Staff are amazing! All staff! Great location allows for walking to dinner and stores. Great asset for travelers hoing to Sanford. Lobby was very clean.
Disliked: The air freshener in the lobby was strong and was very bothersome to my allergies. The outside furniture is not safe! Chairs are barely hanging on by a thread, literally! Tables by pool and out back are unstable and no anchors for umbrellas. I would be sad to hear someone went through a chair and was injured. Purchase quality chairs that hold up the the sun.

Liked: Could stay and get a shuttle to the airport for an early flight!
Disliked: Pillows were too soft. TV remote didn't work and the curtains were off the rod and didn't cover the entire window.

Comfortable and much less stressful...

Liked: Convenient for flight in the early morning. Sanford airport is a nightmare getting to, so it was decided to drop me off night before.

Liked: Everything was very clean, the staff was helpful.
Disliked: While the room was clean, it had a very plastic odor, like everything was brand new, but it consumed my nose and I couldn't sleep until I finally took my t-shirt and put it over my nose to hide the odor. I should asked to change rooms, I suppose, but didn't think of it at the time. Also, I wished the free airport shuttle would've gone a little sooner than 5 a.m. We would have been late for our 6 a.m. flight, which a lot of guests were on. We had to hire another shuttle.
