Best Western Plus Portsmouth Hotel and Suites

Awful

Disliked: First it took 20 minutes to check in after I did an online check in and purchase. The guy checking us in was completely lost. Great start so we finally get to are room which smelled like mold and mildew. My kid goes into the bathroom and the door is broken and doesn't shut closed. I tried myself and noticed the door was bent from what looks like being kicked in at some point. So I turn around looking at the toilet and the seat is broken pushed to one side with poop and pee on it . Great ! Now we try to use the TV and its something from the stone age . Only local channels with no option for anything else. I went to the front desk to report the problems and the guy didn't seem to care and explained maintenance won't be back till Monday. Great ! Whatever now we all go down to the pool the kids want to swim. We'll on the way down the walls floors trim in the hallway all broken stained dirtyUhhhh get into the pool area and the walls all molded stained falling apart. Great ! Now we look in the pool and it's got rocks dirt/sand molded areas unreal I'm like what a shit hole I can't believe everything I'm seeing here in the 1st hour. Whatever we try to make the best of it . Now where hungry so where heading down to the hotel restaurant as showed on line. Well they don't have a restaurant it's an attached Diner . So on are way we pass some people and they asked if we were heading to the diner. Yeah we are they said don't bother it's gross. Great ! We leave and go out to dinner near by . It was great at the DinnerHorn restaurant. So we go to bed a while later and I can't sleep the bed sucks . After tossing and turning for a few I I decided to get up and just go for a walk around the halls and check things out . I'm walking by a little laundry room off the hall and there's 2 guys sleeping on the floor with some bags. They looked like homeless people.
