Best Western Plus Newark Airport West

Good option if your flight...

Liked: Close to airport, free shuttle, room was spacious and reasonably priced
Disliked: Staff was not very friendly. The shuttle driver ignored us and was on his phone as we lugged our suitcases into the van. Front desk was also pretty short with us, but it was late so we were probably all kind of cranky.

Passable

Liked: Room was quite big.
Disliked: I forgot my Air Pods in the room. I called up the hotel a day after and they told me they will get back to me but never did. Most likely it was taken by some staff.

Exceptional

Liked: The saff were good and the room was beautiful..
Disliked: Although it's not a big deal, the reception area can be straight ahead when you enter the hotel...so the lobby needs renovation..

Overall, this stay was unpleasant...

Liked: Staff was friendly upon check-in.
Disliked: Room facilties were lacking and had an unpleasant smell. Additionally, there seemed to be mold growing on the bathroom ceiling.

Simple and easy place to...

Liked: The hotel was easily accessed from the airport via their shuttle which was helpful. The room was quite large and comfy with AC to escape the higher temps.
Disliked: We were hoping we could walk to the Newark Airport Train Station, but didn't realize it wasn't possible even though you are so close to it! While that was a bummer, the shuttle is available as a work around.
